We care about great stories and the people that tell them.

We collaborate with individuals, brands, and institutions to deepen their cultural resonance through storytelling and literature. We provide tangible solutions to your storytelling challenges, always guided by care as we operate at the intersection of culture, community, and commerce.

Our studio was founded by pioneering editor Lemara Lindsay-Prince, whose career is marked by transformative contributions in amplifying global majority voices and enriching the British literary landscape. During her time leading the award-winning Merky Books imprint, she championed and published culturally resonant titles, including Keisha The Sket, and the inspirational autobiographies of Caster Semenya and Malorie Blackman. She also initiated a brand partnership with HSBC through her first acquisition, the How To series.

With years of insight from the publishing industry, building an independent magazine, and a commitment to centering the diaspora and intersectional voices, Studio Lemara is ready to shape a new storytelling landscape.
